She is an independent affiliate of EEG Spectrum International, Inc and a founding member of EEG Associates as well as a member of the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback, and the International Society for Neuronal Regulation.

She herself has suffered from chronic pain from fibromyalgia and temporal-mandibular joint syndrome (TMJ) for 23 years. She first began using neurofeedback for her own conditions. It was at this point that she felt that she began to get her life back. Neurofeedback training decreased her pain, increased her energy, alleviated her constant headaches and significantly decreased brain fog and fibromyalgia flare-ups. As she increased her training and began offering this service to her psychotherapy patients the benefits were often swift and profound. She observed breakthroughs in therapeutic issues, alleviation of physical symptoms such as irritable bowel and migraines, increases in alertness and concentration, decreases in pain and anxiety and improvements in mood.
